Mending

Repairing Gear, Weaponry & Tools (GWT) in TrixyCraft

Mending is a unique mechanic in TrixyCraft, and no this does not refer to the Mending enchantment in Vanilla Minecraft, which is disabled in TrixyCraft.

Additionally, any GWT (Iron & above) that you obtain in Minecraft naturally, i.e., looted from a Village or Mob Drops may still be repaired in Anvils but of course, does not grant unlimited repair attempts and any unique item mechanics won't be applied to them.

Any GWT (Iron & above) that you craft, you will notice a custom color-coded text durability, instead of the typical vanilla green-bar, and that represents the actual durability of your item. If an item's durability drops below 0, the item, depending on the type, may

  • Break completely.

  • Become unusable, but may be mended to continue its usage.

  • Downgrade, but has its durability reset to full.

All GWT (Iron & above) repairs is handled via the Mending Forge. A Forge is responsible for a wide range of item customizations and you may refer to Forge for additional information. A Mending Forge enables you to craft Repair Scrolls, tied to the Item Tier and Item Material.

Crafting a Repair Scroll requires a certain set of requirements, materials and crafting time.
