Entry and Exit

Mechanics of entering and exiting a Warzone.

Access

Unlocking permanent access to a Warzone will require 9 Ordered Map Fragments.

Note: Ordered means they must be uniquely labelled in a way that all Map Fragments' label must be different from one another. Thus, upon receiving a fragment, you will notice that it will be labelled in Roman Numerals (I to IX).

Upon gathering all the required Map Fragments, it can be used to craft a Map, which when consumed, allows access to a specific Warzone for 7 days.

The Transporter NPC located in Rose Lake will then allow you to traverse to the unlocked Warzones and will impose a Traversal Cooldown on each traversal. Each traversal will usually be associated with a Traversal Cost, typically in the form of Vanilla Experience Levels.

The table below summarizes its associated cost and cooldowns, scaling with Player Upgrades.

Player Inventory

Upon entering or exiting a Warzone, any items brought within a player inventory will be cleared. This signifies that you will not be able to bring in/bring out items that are in your inventory. Items must be transported through Safe Chests prior to entering or exiting a Warzone.

Safe Chests are guaranteed to be located at Rose Lake, beside the Transporter NPCs and near Exit Portals. They can also be found scattered throughout the Warzone.

Each player starts off with 9 inventory slots, which could be progressively upgraded further, up to a maximum of 54 slots via Player Upgrades.

Exit

Exit Portals will be enabled in a Warzone and will be scattered throughout all 4 directions of a region. That also signifies that there will only be 4 Exit Portals in each Warzone. Players may only safely exit via these Exit Portals.

A Player Death or a Player Disconnect while Combat Tagged, resulted from any cause will also automatically exit the player from an AL.

Using an Artifact, known as the Traveler's Tale, is an alternative way that enables a player to teleport to Spawn safely, if the teleportation channel is successful.

Additionally, once an Exit Portal is used, it imposes a player-specific cooldown on that specific Exit Portal. This signifies that you will not be able to repetitively utilize the same Exit Portal for exiting in quick successions. Each Exit Portal has a usage cooldown of 8 hours.
